These terms govern your use of Virtual Cemetery (vcemetery.com). By visiting the site, submitting a memorial, or leaving a guestbook message, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to submit a memorial or guestbook message. The site is not directed at children.
Submitted content
When you submit a memorial or a guestbook message, you confirm that you have the right to share that content and any photo included with it, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. You grant Sea Blast Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the site (and in promotional material about the site) for as long as the memorial remains published. You retain ownership of what you submit.
Prohibited content
Don't submit content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, knowingly false, impersonates someone without authorization, or infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights. Memorials should be genuine tributes to real people who have died — not jokes, fiction, or content about living people intended to mislead.
Moderation and removal
Submissions are reviewed before publication, but review is manual and we can't guarantee every issue is caught. We may remove, edit, or decline to publish any memorial or guestbook message at our discretion, including after publication, and without prior notice. Family members or other affected parties can request removal or correction any time via the contact page.
Featured placement
Featured placement on the homepage is arranged individually by contacting us directly (see Create Memorial) — it isn't purchased automatically through the site. Because payment is currently handled manually and may include cryptocurrency, transactions aren't reversible once sent; confirm details with us in writing before paying. We aim to apply featured placement promptly after payment is confirmed, but timing isn't guaranteed.
No guarantee of permanence
We intend Virtual Cemetery to be a lasting space, but we can't guarantee the site, or any individual memorial, will remain online indefinitely, uninterrupted, or error-free. We aren't liable for content lost due to technical issues, though we take reasonable care to avoid that.
Third-party services
The site relies on third-party services (including Cloudflare, Supabase, and Google) to operate. We aren't responsible for outages, data handling practices, or errors originating from those services, beyond our obligations described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We don't verify the factual accuracy of user-submitted biographical details.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sea Blast Ltd isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including loss of data or content. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law in your own jurisdiction gives you rights that can't be waived.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will update the "last updated" date above.
